During the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant industry dealt with a mass exodus of their workforce. When COVID restrictions were relaxed and in-person dining was reintroduced, the job market became flooded with restaurant concepts competing over a very narrow candidate pool. I worked with Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant to re-design their “Careers” page, highlighting the success stories of team members who stayed and advanced within the company. By showcasing real growth opportunities and a “come as you are” mentality, we positioned Iron Hill as a place where employees could build lasting careers in the hospitality industry, not just “find a job.”
