in a nutshell

Hello there! I’m Conor Clancy—I’m a photographer with a photojournalism background and a passion for storytelling based in Philadelphia, PA. Over the years, I’ve worked on commercial projects as a freelancer, but as I elevated my career, I noticed a gap in the market for small-to-medium-sized businesses.

I launched my photography business in 2013, starting with music photography before expanding into all realms of photojournalism. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working with Grammy Award-winning artists in Los Angeles and documenting storm chasers in Oklahoma. After being laid off from my corporate job in 2023, I decided to finally make the leap and move my photography business from the back burner to the front burner.

Music photography is still very much alive and well, by the way! Click this link to view my music photography and portrait portfolio.

advice to photographers trying to establish themselves

Don’t listen to anyone on the internet who speaks in absolutes, especially on Reddit. You can do whatever you put your mind to—anyone who says otherwise is reacting out of their own self-doubt and misery.
